Last week, there was an individual going door to door in
Legendary Run and claiming to be
collecting donations as a representative
of the
Holy Trinity Church
for a 13 month old baby that was suffer
from brain cancer.
This does not violate the Transient Vendor Resolution,
however, the authenticity of her
solicitations are in question.
Therefore, I am asking any resident that
may have had contact with this
individual to contact me and I will
forward the information to the Pierce
Township Police Department.
The description of the individual is as follows: female
white, approx. 30 years of age, light
brown hair, 5’2” in height, 125 lbs in
weight; and was in the company of a
child described as a female black
approx. 3 years of age.
Should this individual appear at your residence, please
contact the Pierce Township Police
Department at 732-2231 so that they can
determine the identity of the individual
and verify that she is legitimately
obtaining collections for the
Holy Trinity Church.

Last month, there was an incident in Royal Troon in which
there was an alarm drop on a residence
and upon the arrival of the officers,
they found a blue Nissan SUV with 2010
Tennessee license plates. One of the
individuals was taken into custody on an
outstanding warrant and the driver was
cited for driving under suspension. The
individuals claimed they were in the
area attempting to locate an individual
reference job opportunities. Only
prudent residents and law enforcement
would surmise that these individuals
were possibly scoping out residences to
break into or were in the process of
breaking into the residence.
Therefore, it is important that any resident observing
individuals engaging in questionable
actions to notify law enforcement and
let the officers make the
determination. DO NOT CHALLENGE
individuals and attempt to determine if
their presence is for a legitimate
purpose.
